Our Sustainability Approach
At Invia Group, we aim to ensure travel respects the people, places, and planet that make it possible. This ambition drives our group-wide sustainability strategy, which focuses on three key pillars: Internal Practices, Product Innovation, and Customer Empowerment.
Internally, we’re building a strong foundation – strengthening sustainability governance, improving office operations, engaging employees, and aligning with emerging regulations like CSRD. These efforts help embed responsible practices into how we work, day to day.
Through our products, we’re integrating sustainability into the travel experience itself. Our package travel brands are improving visibility of greener accommodation and transport choices, while our flight-focused platforms prioritize emissions transparency and are exploring ways to support more collective actions.
For our customers, we’re committed to making sustainable travel more accessible. That means offering clear, reliable information across our platforms, aligning our communication with responsible travel values, and supporting people to make better-informed choices – at every stage of their journey.
These are just a few examples of how we’re putting our strategy into action. To learn more about what each brand is working on, check out their dedicated sustainability pages below.
Carbon Emissions 2023
Our Climate Impact: 2023 Baseline Emissions
As part of the Invia Group, we’ve taken an important step forward in our sustainability journey by completing our first full greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, covering emissions from Scope 1, 2, and 3 for the entire group. This marks our baseline year: 2023.
Invia Group
Total Scope 1, 2 & 3 Greenhouse Gas Emissions
15,631 (Metric Tonnes CO₂e)
Total Scope 1
Total Scope 2
Total Scope 3
Scope 1,2 & 3
First Emissions Addressed
We addressed 279 tonnes CO₂e in 2023 through third-party verified projects. This included:
Projects Supported (Total: 279 tCO₂e)
Rather than prioritizing volume, we focused on quality – supporting projects with rigorous standards, long-term benefits, and strong environmental credibility.
Addressing emissions through supporting projects is not a substitute – it is a complementary step as we work to reduce emissions at the source.

What’s Next?
We are already working on measuring emissions for 2024 to continue improving our data quality and understanding of environmental impacts – especially as our business evolves with changes like increased digitalization and AI. We are committed to aligning with a Net Zero future by 2050. While we’re not there yet, we’re focused on building a credible, long-term emissions reduction strategy – grounded in science-based targets, business goals & the environment. We’re committed to doing this properly, transparently, and with a realistic view of the major transformations ahead. In the meantime, we are looking into our high control areas such as our office spaces & employee engagement, and making changes where we can reduce our footprint.
